A Classic Scope That Keeps Getting Classier

This telescope is sure to attract serious beginners and intermediate astronomers alike. The SpaceProbe 130 provides great all-around viewing performance. This scope's 130mm (5.1") primary mirror gathers enough light for deep-sky observing while its 900mm focal length (f/6.9) provides the resolving power needed to reveal subtle planetary features.

With the two fully coated Explorer II eyepieces provided (25mm and 10mm) you can cruise the Orion Nebula or zoom in on the rings of Saturn. The mount is a sturdy EQ-2 equatorial model, with aluminum tripod and accessory tray. Slow-motion controls allow fine manual pointing of the telescope. One-year limited warranty.

This special package deal allows you to let your telescope do the driving! This package includes the EQ-2M Motor Drive System. This precision mini-motor drive is compatible with Orion or Celestron equatorial mount and can track celestial objects automatically. It'll make observing easier and more fun!

Drive provides regulated sidereal-rate tracking in right ascension. Hand controller has 2x and 4x speeds and pause mode. External disengage allows coarse movement of the scope by hand with motor attached.

Includes electronic motor, hand controller, and battery case. Powered by four D-cell batteries (not included).
